Messiah Lutheran Church
LineWorks Striping Company completed a comprehensive parking lot restriping project for Messiah Lutheran Church, refreshing 62 standard parking stalls, ADA-accessible parking, directional arrows, crosswalks, and pedestrian access markings to improve visibility, organization, and safety throughout the property.
Messiah Lutheran Church Parking Lot Restriping Project
A well-marked parking lot does more than improve a property's appearance. Clear pavement markings help organize traffic, define pedestrian areas, improve accessibility, and make it easier for visitors to navigate the property safely. For this project, LineWorks Striping Company completed a comprehensive pavement marking refresh for Messiah Lutheran Church. The scope included the existing parking layout, ADA-accessible spaces, directional markings, crosswalks, and pedestrian access areas throughout the property. The project encompassed 62 standard parking stalls, three ADA-accessible stalls, four directional arrows, two crosswalks, and an additional pedestrian access area.
Refreshing the Existing Parking Layout
The majority of the project focused on restoring the church's existing parking configuration rather than redesigning the lot. A total of 62 standard parking stalls were restriped throughout the property. Following the customer's selected specification, the stalls were completed using yellow professional traffic marking paint. Working with an existing layout requires careful attention to the original stall locations and traffic patterns. Our goal was to restore visibility and definition while maintaining a familiar parking configuration for members, visitors, staff, and other users of the facility. Fresh pavement markings immediately make parking areas easier to understand and provide a cleaner, more organized appearance across the property. Improving ADA-Accessible Parking Areas Accessibility markings were another important component of the project. The property included one van-accessible ADA parking stall featuring an adjacent access aisle with blue diagonal striping, a blue ADA designation area, and the white International Symbol of Accessibility. Two additional accessible parking stalls were also restriped with blue stall markings, ADA designation squares, and white wheelchair symbols. These markings were installed as part of the project's accessibility scope and were intended to clearly distinguish accessible parking and access areas from the surrounding standard parking spaces.
A Complete Parking Lot Marking Refresh
This project demonstrates how several relatively straightforward pavement marking services can work together to improve an entire property. Rather than focusing exclusively on parking stalls, the Messiah Lutheran Church project addressed the major visual components of the parking area: 62 standard parking stalls 1 van-accessible ADA parking stall and access aisle 2 additional ADA-accessible parking stalls 4 directional arrows 2 crosswalks Sidewalk transition and pedestrian access markings The result is a more clearly defined parking environment with refreshed markings for vehicles, accessible parking, traffic circulation, and pedestrian movement.
